How to take out range?

Range is the difference between the maximum and minimum value of any data. Suppose if you have the highest data 50 and minimum value 20.So the range is(50-20)=30.

To find the range, first arrange the data in increasing or decreasing order. This will help in finding the smallest term and highest term easily. 
Range = Highest Term - Lowest Term..

Let's take an example..

Given Data :- 
34, 33, 52, 26, 11.
Arranging in ascending order....
11, 26, 33, 34, 52.
Range = Highest term - Lowest Term
= 52 - 11
= 41

Hence, range of given data is 41.
