Hello friends
____________________________
Given:
Amount (A) = 5280 rupees.
Principal (P) = 4000 rupees
Rate of interest (R) = 8% per annum
We have to find,
Period (N) = ??
We know that,
Amount = Principal + S. I
S.I = A - P
By using this formula we get,
S.I = A - P
S.I = 5280 - 4000
S.I = 1280
And we know that,
S.I = P x N x R/100
By putting the given values we get,
1280 = 4000 x N x 8/100
N = 1280 x 100/4000 x 8
N = 4 years..
Thanks...
:)

Hey!
Principal=4000Rs.
Amount=5280Rs.
Time= t years.
Rate of interest= 8% per year.
SI =A-p
Also SI=( p*r*t)/100.
A-p =( p*r*t)/100.
5280-4000=( 4000*8*t)/100.
1280=32000t/100.
1280=320t
t= 1280/320
= 4years= option 2.
Hope it helps.
