the doctor lived in a room which was full of rats he heard the sounds of the rats there was a regular traffic of rats to and from the beam. he heard the sounds thrice.the sound stopped suddenly as rats had seen a snake.

• The doctor turns like a stone when the snake sits on his shoulder.
• The doctor is confused what to do next . example: he thinks if he should cry, shout etc...
• The doctor feels himself as if he is a stone image in the flesh.
