the correct answer is d) none of the above,,, as electronic configuration of Au is [Xe] 4f14 5d10 6s1 . but if we remove 6s1 it gain +1....but on the other hand we find many places that common oxidation state for gold is +3. It caused by destabilization of  5d105d10 orbital. .. hence we conclude that at
zero oxidation state all the orbitals are completely filled . so answer might be zero...

If there is a second answer besides, I would like to see that.
