Answer:

48020

Step-by-step explanation:

First of all :

Emigration is the migration of people away from town .

Immigration is the migration into the town.

Population = 50,000 .

First year

Emigration = 6% of 50,000

                  = 6% × 50,000

                  = 6/100 × 50,000

                  = 6 × 500

                  = 3,000

Immigration = 4 % of 50,000

                    = 4/100 × 50,000

                   = 1/25 × 50,000

                   = 2000

Total no. of people change = 2000 - 3000

                                              = - 1000

No .of people becomes = 50,000 - 10,000

                                        = 49,000

Second year

Emigration = 6% of 49,00

                  = 6/100 × 49000

                  = 6 ×490

                  = 2940

Immigration = 4% of 49,000

                    = 4/100 × 49,000

                    = 4 ×490

                    = 1960

Total people change = 1960 - 2940

                                   = -980

Number of people now = 49,000 - 980

                                       = 48,020

Hey Mate

You looking for this one
Here you Go

6% of 50,000 is 3000
4% of 50,000 is 2000

Emigration means they are leaving the town. So -3000
Immigration means they are coming in. So +2000

-3000+2000= -1000

After first year the total is 49000

6% of 49000 is 2940
4% of 49000 is 1960

-2940+1960= -980

So 49000-980= 48020.

hope it helps
