✔️✔️Gulliver's travel book review :-

This story is adventurous and full of mystery and suspense. Gulliver needs strange creatures in places that mostly are very opposite to human world!

he depicted it to be a magnificent way by which he divided into the 4 voyages. This is a satire story on our society and here the language used by the author is sometimes simple and sometimes difficult.

The second voyage is to a land of Giants where Gulliver seems as small as the Lilliputians were to him. Gulliver was afraid but his keepers are surprisingly gentle. He is humiliated by the King when he is made to see how England is!

Gulliver comes to recognize their humans. Gulliver stays with the Houyhnhnms for several years, becoming completely sincere. When he is told that the time has come for him to leave the island, Gulliver faints!

Upon returning to England, Gulliver feels disgusted about other humans, including his own family!!!!!!!!!!

Answer:

Book: Gullivers Travels

Author: Jonathan Swift

My Thoughts:-

The novel is arguably Swift’s greatest satiric attempt to “shame men out of their vices”. The structure and the choice of metaphors also serve Swift’s purpose of attacking politics, religion, morality, human nature and of course colonialism which is at the heart of the novel. Swift clearly undercuts the ideas endorsed by colonialism by putting forth a reverse scenario and demonstrating how the truth about people and objects is heavily influenced by the observer’s perception. In Gulliver’s Travels the scales are manipulated to show the politics of representation thus bringing forth a comfortless and disturbing satire.
