❤️❤️HELLO FRIENDS❤️❤️

◆Define magnification by a spherical mirror and express it in terms of object distance and image distance for the mirror.
◆The magnification produced by a convex lens is -2. What is meant by this statement? Also write the information regarding the image obtained.

\bf{ANSWER}

1.In addition, with spherical mirrors, it is possible to invert the image so that it is upside down. Magnificaton. Images need not look exactly as large as the objects from which they originate. The ratio of image size to object size is the magnification factor of a spherical mirror

the magnification produced by a spherical mirror is the ratio of minus image distance to the object distance
magnification = -v/u
2) this means that the ratio of the object distance to image distance is -2
