It is of class 10 science chapter 12 electricity…..
If 2*10-3 J of work is done in moving a particle carrying a charge of 10*10-6 coulomb from infinity to a point P. What will be the potential at point P?

V = w/q

Given,

w = 2 x 10^-3 J

q = 10 x 10^-6 J

V = w/q

=> V = 2 x 10^-3 / 10 x 10^-6

=> V = 0.2 x 10^3 v
