by the formula a^m/a^n = a^m-n
》 (2)^n-5 × (5)^n-4-1 = 1
》 (2)^n-5 × (5)^n-5 = 1
by the formula a^m × b^m = (ab )^m
》 (2×5)^n-5 = 1
》 10^n-5 = 1
by the formula a^0 = 1
》 10^n-5 = 10^0
Taking only powers
》 n - 5 = 0
》 n = 5
Hence n = 5
