The answer is 10 as,

Given,
No. of people served in 1 jug =4
To find,
the no. of jugs required to serve 40 people.
soln.

Therefore no. of jugs needed for 40 people=
40/4= 10
Thus, 10 jugs are needed to serve 40 people.

Here's your answer ,

You can do this through the unitary method ,

If 4 persons are served by 1 jug of lemonade
Then 1 person would be served by 1/4 jug of lemonade
∴ 40 persons will be served by 1/4 * 40 = 10 .
