Looking out the window at the tracks left in the grass from the dew. I hear the teacher telling us about how we need to be safe due to the bad weather coming. I assuming that there is going to be a tornado because of the changes inside of the climate.
It dropped so quickly.
And then, with the forest fires going on in the west coast I think that this is the earth finding a way to shut down because it can't freeze anymore. I just got to wait for the rest to happen. I get distracted from my thoughts when lightning struck and took out the power.
As I walk out to the bus it was pretty chilly compared to last week. But, with the breeze came the wonderful smell of the pine trees. The forecast said this morning there was going to be a big storm. I wouldn't be surprised if it started to hail or if we have a blizzard.
I wake up the next day with frost on my wonder. I laugh looking at the neighbors trying to make something with the little bit of snow on the ground from last night. He looks up at me and waves. His little calls me to come join them.
While we enjoy a cup of hot coco with marshmallows he says " There was a tsunami that took out most of japan." I ask him" And, your folks." he shakes his head. I bow my head and say "I'm sorry" he nods and looks out the window at his sister. " We are going to my aunts until I'm 18 then I'll get the house and take care of her." I smile through my tears even though it's going to be a few months.
The next day I wave goodbye to them from my door.
