Firstly, Zero wasn't discovered according to me. It should have been invented. Coming to the question, it was invented(used first) by Brahmagupta, not Aryabhata. Zero could have been invented for easier calculations and abstract mathematics.

So it's Brahmagupta not bhaskaracharya
