Step-by-step explanation:

(3x+5y=9)×3

9x+15y=27 -1

(5x+3y=7)×5

25x+15y= 35 -2

from eq 1 and 2

9x+15y=27

25x+15y=35

16x=8

x= 1/2

3/2+5y=9

5y= 9-3/2

5y= 18-3/2

5y= 15/2

y= 15/2×1/5

y=3/2
