Division is inherent in a democracy as if we would give all the powers to a single body, it will misuse it and also nobody can check on it.
The basis of democracy is justice, equality and peace and if there isn't any division of power, they would alter and violate the basic concepts of it.

it has division inherent as when power is divided then power sharing occurs which is good for democracy as only single person or party can rule
if division do not occur then all powers get accumulated in hands of one person which in turn results in misuse of it
hence for proper functioning of democracy it is important to have divisions in it
