FRENCH REVOLUTION :

French Revolution was took place in 1789 and 1799. As, in 1774 Louis XVI became the king of the Crown in France. He married the Princess of Australia. In the rule of Louis XVI France faced many wars against Prussia and Britain. At the same time Louis XVI helped the America in the American war of Independence against British.
These wars led to the decrease in French Economy. People starved for peace and bread. The people in France faced malnutrition. Pauoerisation took place in France. Louis XVI to escape from this Economic loss he divided the people of France into three estates. The three Estates are Clergy - Church officials as Roman Catholic Church was in power during the revolution. The second estate is Nobility - Family of King. And the third estate was the normal people I.e Lawyers, doctors, farmers etc..
Under the Roman Catholic Church Louis XVI ordered the people of third estate to pay the taxes. As, the first two estates had all privileges and the third estate people were struggled to pay the taxes. Then a conference was held in Versallies where the first two estate people were allowed and the third estate people were prohibited. This made the people to question the monarchy and Church.
The people of third estate started the revolution against the church and King. They got the support from the Robespierre as he started the Jacobin club. Napoleon Bonaparte also participated in the revolt. Finally in 1789 the people revolted in bastille where the king and Queen were executed. Then Napoleon became the ruler of France.
