Gravity is a weak force and it is always a attracting force, it does not repel.

Everything that has mass posses a gravitational force.

From Newton's Law of Motion,

Gravitation Force directly proportional to the mass of the objects and inversely proportional to the distance between them. The effect of gravitational force weakens with the distance, also the greater the masses, stronger the gravitational force.

It is a center force, that applies on the center of the objects.
