If only I had told the truth, then today you weren't so far. It feels like you are with me, but deep down my heart knows that you won't return. This thing keeps me killing apart.
The lie I told pierces my heart into pieces. I don't know how would I cope up with the rest of the world when you're not here. If I've told you about mine Congenital heart disease then you would have done something instead of leaving your heart in mine body to beat.
The number of times it beats, the more I remember. I wish we could have lived this life together, but it isn't possible and only because of me. I didn't wanted to let you go and let me survive. Why, why did you took that biggest decision of your life when I was lying half dead in the hospital ?
Didn't you thought of me ? How would I live once you're gone ? Wasn't there any other way by which we could have survived together ?
Obviously I wanted to live more but not at the cost of letting you go and staying alone. You left your heart with me. But what about mine soul which was yours forever. All this happened because of me. Instead of keeping it a secret, if I'd have told you then might you'd have saved me.
You definitely saved me, but you went away. I miss you like hell. And possibly I'd die with the thing in my heart If only I had told the truth :'/
"If only I had told the truth..." , I wondered to myself thinking what I had done in my life . That one truth could have melted his heart and his trust for me would have increased . Thinking about the incident , I shed tears over and over again , just remembering him .
He was my friend Aarav who had been the dearest companion to me and stood always by my side . But , I just told one lie to save his life , which he himself didn't knew of . That one lie separated me and Aarav for the rest of our lives , never to make us one back again .
"Can you not tell me the truth Brisha ? .." was his last talk with me . I clearly remember that I , told him a lie just for him and he misunderstood me . He walked past me and didn't consider importamt to turn around and bid a bye to his friend with whom he had been together for so many years . I tried my best to make him understand but he was gone and would never come back for me .
