Combustion needs 3 things fuel,oxygen and heat, so to put off fire,any one of the following can be done:
- Cut off the fuel supply
- Remove the source of heat
- Cut off air supply

- By spreading water to the fire place ..
- By taking a cloth then... put the cloth or a piece of cloth to the fire...
- by using gas... u can also put off fire
