A man walks 7 km eastwards, turns right and travels 3 km and further turns right and travels 11 km . How far is he from the starting point ?

Plz help me !!!

earlier he moved 7 km

if u draw the figure then,

AB=7km,  BC= 3km,  CD=11km

to get DA first we have to substract 7 from 11

11-7=4km

and the distance between them is 3km

so now by pythagorus theorum,

DA²=3²+4²

DA²=9+16

DA²=25

DA=√25

DA=5km
