HELLO GUYS!!!


CAN YOU TELL ME WHY PULMONARY ARTRY ARE CALLED ARTIES BUT THEY CARRY DEOXYGENATED BLOOD.
WHY WE CAN'T CONSIDER IT AS VEIN??

The function of the pulmonary arteries is to transport the deoxygenated blood to the lungs where it can be reoxygenated through diffusion. They are still called arteries because they transport blood away from the heart, regardless of whether or not the blood is deoxygenated or oxygenated.

The artery or vein associated with the lungs perform opposite functions as performed by all other artery and veins in our body all the properties like deep seated or superficial ,speed of blood flowing through them are same
