Question:

If,

8= 88

7= 91

6=90

5=85

Then,

3=?

Answer:

3= 63

Given:

8 = 88

7= 91

6= 90

5= 85

To find:

3= ?

Explanation:

Since in the series one number is always getting multiplied by another number and the result is the product of the numbers.

Here, in the next time the number which is getting multiplied is always descending by 1 while the number by which the other number is getting multiplied, is always getting ascended by 2.

Such that,

8× 11 = 88

For the next case,

(8-1)× (11+2)

=7×13

= 91

Similarly,

(7-1)×(13+2)

= 6×15

=90

By the same way,

(6-1)×(15+2)

=5×17

=85

Here, we miss 4 but to get for 3, we have to calculate for 4 first.

So,

(5-1)×(17+2)

=4×19

= 76

Similarly,

(4-1)×(19+2)

= 3×21

= 63.

So, we get the answer, 3= 63.
