QUESTION:-

The Diagonal of a rectangle is 1cm more than its Length and The breadth is 7cm Less than its Length.

FIND DIMENSIONS OF THE RECTANGLE?

SOLUTION:-

Let length=x

Breadth=x-7cm

Diagonal=x+1cm

Area of Rectangle= b= (x-7)

=-7x=0

=>x(x-7)=0

X=0

X=7

if X=0

then Breadth--0-7=-7[not possible]

so, X=7 where Breadth=7-7=0cm

and Diagonal=7+1=8cm
