HLO DEAR...
when the rice enters into the factory it undergoes different chemical processes.
WE know after harvesting the rice, it has a brown coloured layer, in order to remove this it undergoes a another process .This process usually make the rice look bright and good white in colour, which removes the other layers.
So, to remove this layers and polish the rice a step is followed in the factpries called as milling.Milling is a step where the exact production of rice takes place. The basic objective Is to remove husk and produce an edible rice grain and that is sufficiently frreed up with the other impurities.A rice milling system can be a simple one or two step process or a multi stage process.
Not only this there are many other processes followed in the factories in order to get proper rice.

But according to me these , means which are processes followed in the factories effects largely, because when WE remove the more layers the most amounts , vitamins , carbohydrates will be removed.

I HOPE IT HELPS U DEAR...
