Let my present age be x years.

And your present age be y years.

Since, I am 5 times as old as you were when I was as old as you are,

➡x=5[y-(x-y)]

➡x=5(y-x+y)

➡x= 5(2y-x)

➡x=10y-5x

➡6x=10y

➡3x=5y

➡x=5y/3-----(1)

It is also given that the sum of their ages is 64.

➡x+y=64-------(2)

Substituting x=5y/3 in equation (2),

➡5y/3+y=64

➡5y+3y/3=64

➡8y/3=64

➡y=64×3/8

➡y=24

From (1),

➡x=5(24)/3

➡x=40

Hence, my present age is 40 years and your's is 24.
