3^(x -1) × 2^(x+1 )= 24

(3^x)/3 ×2•2^x = 24

3^x × 2 × 2^x = 24×3

3^x ×2^x ×2 = 72 .

6^x = 72/2

6^x = 36 =6^2

→ x = 2

 {3}^{x - 1} \times {2}^{x + 1} \\ \\ here \: assuming \: x \: as \: 1 \\ but. \\ then \: {3}^{x - 1} = {3}^{0} \\ \\ therefore \: taking \: x = 2 \\ \\lhs = {3}^{ x - 1} \times {2}^{x + 1} \\ \\ = {3}^{2 - 1} \times {2}^{2 + 1} \\ \\ = 3 \times {2}^{3} \\ \\ = 3 \times 8 \\ \\ lhs= 24 \\ \\ rhs = 24 \\ \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: lhs =rhs \\ \\ therefore \: \: \: \: \: x = 2
