that why black color is used here for water bodies....

because of a lot of pollution and can be recognised easily and it covers 71percent

yss... u r right
never a black line or a dot is used to represent a water body
but the fact is that we are studying the topo of rajasthan..... where water is hardly available
so black line doesn't represent any water body it represnt the banks , the river islands.... not the water bcaz river is dry
if there will be any blue line then only it represnt water flowing in a river
