To maintain street lights, construction & repair work of village roads

the different water harvesting system were adopted in the ancient India because at that time people were not know about the science about the rainfall the don't have idea when the rain can came will the rain came or not so they save the water after every rain.

water scarcity is related with low rainfall because because there are many fields in India which are far away from sea from lakes and from Ponds so that is the reason that those farmers whose fields are far away from the lakes Ponds Aussies which are totally depend on rainfall that is the reason people who are living in mid of the India are far away from the Seas lakes and Ponds they have to totally depend on rainfall.
