Total money = 80,000

Let 'n' be the no. of people who get Rs 500 as prize.

Let (200-n) be the no. of people who get Rs 100 as prize.

Therefore,

500n + 100(200-n) = 80,000

5n + 200-n = 800

4n = 600

n = 600/4 = 150

Therefore,

No. of people who recieve 500 as prize is 150 and the no. of people who receive 100 as prize is 50.
