Hello!

The angles of a triangle are in the ratio 1 : 2 : 3. Find the size of each angle of the triangle.

Solution:

Here, the angles of the triangle are in the ratio 1 : 2 : 3.

Let the angles of the triangle be x° , 2x° & 3x°.

Now,

x° + 2x° + 3x° = 180° [°•° Sum Of triangle is 180°]

⇒ 6x° = 180°

⇒ x° = 180°/x

⇒ x° = 30°

Hence,

The 1st angle of the triangle = x° = 30°

The 2nd angle of the triangle = 2x° = 2 × 30° = 60°

The 3rd angle of the triangle = 3x° = 3 × 30° = 90°

Hope It Helps!

Ratio=1:2:3
Let the angles be x°,2x°,3x°
According to angle sum property(sum of 3 angles is 180°)
=>1x+2x+3x=180°
=>6x=180°
=>x=180°÷6
=>x=30°

First angle=x=30°
Second angle=2x=60°
Third angle=3x=90°

So,the angles of the triangle have the measure of 30°,60°,and 90°

Hope it helps !!!
