The fun they had underlines the idea that it won't be wise to replace teachers with computers with study rooms at home. Of course, in the new age, computers would be able to impart what we call 'inclusive' education, gearing themselves to the needs of a particular student. They would be more accurate and informative and be able to remove a lot of wastage of time and energy. But real school and real teachers have their own importance and value. In the new educational set - up, the personal touch would be missing. The students, like Margie, would feel lonely and would be deprived of all the fun there is in going to school.
