Narrate the clever strategy followed by Clem Jones to deceive Pongo...

The character Clem Jones was generally a clever person and a careful planner.

One day he was carrying a box as he stepped onto the docks and was questioned by Pongo, who was a policeman by profession. Pongo asked Clem about what was inside the box and Clem replied, " a cat".  Pongo didnt believe Clem, so Clem showed him proof. When he opened the box a cat ran jumped out. Clem chased the cat and 2 minutes later returned with the same box with a lid on top.

Pongo laughed and let Clem go, but to his lack of knowledge, Clem had hidden a large Dutch cheese in it. This was his clever strategy.
