Known :

Amount of 3 consecutive integers = 135

Asked:

The largest and smallest number difference

Settlement:

We suppose:

Smallest number = x - 1

Middle number = x

The biggest number = x + 1

135 = number of 3 consecutive numbers

135 = (x - 1) + x + (x + 1)

135 = x - 1 + x + x + 1

135 = x + x + x - 1 + 1

135 = 3x

x = 135/3

x = 45

Smallest number

= 45 - 1

= 44

The biggest number

= 45 + 1

= 46

Difference The largest and smallest number

= 46-44

= 2

Hope it helps ✌
