Hello dear!❤️

Solution:

Area of road ABCD =

(75 \times 4) = 300 {m}^{2}

Area of road EFGH=

(60 \times 4) {m}^{2}  = 240 {m}^{2}

Clearly, Area PQRS is common to both the roads

Area PQRS

(4 \times 4) {m}^{2}  = 16 {m}^{2}

Area of roads to be gravelled:

(300 + 240 - 16)  {m}^{2}  = 524 {m}^{2}

Cost of gravelling the roads

(524 \times 50) = rs26200

Hope this helps dear..

Have a beautiful day❤️❤️

Answer:

The cost of graveling the roads at Rs. 50 per m² is Rs. 26200.

Step-by-step explanation:

Length of the Rectangular lawn is = 75 m

Breadth of the rectangular lawn is = 60 m

Width of two roads is = 4 m (each)

Rate = Rs. 50 per m²

Now, the area of road is = 75×4+60×4-4×4

                                        = 300 + 240 - 16

                                        = 540 - 16

                                        = 524 m²

So, the cost of graveling the roads at Rs. 50 per m² is:

   Cost = Rs. (524×50)

            = Rs. 26200

Hence, the cost of graveling the roads at Rs. 50 per m² is Rs. 26200.
