  • Can:- is used when you or someone else is able to do or perform a task ..It is used with present tense.
  • Could:- is the past form of can it is also used with the same thing

  • May :-is used when you express your wishes, and when you ask for someone's permission to do something by giving respect to them or when someone is expected to do something
  • Might:-is the past form of may

these are modal verbs also called auxilliary verbs and their present tense form might also change their meaning like the way it is changed in the answer given by me right now
