Answer:

given that:

x/3-y/2=1

x/5+y/4=5

now the solution is:

take LCM of both the equation ,we get

the first equation that is 2x - 3y = 1

and the second equation is 4x + 5y = 5

by taking first equation that is

2x - 3y = 1

let x =1 we get ,

2(1) - 3y = 1

2 - 3y = 1

- 3y = 1 - 2

- 3y = -1

y =-3/-1

y = 1

now we get y =1

By substituting the values ,

our second equation that we get ,

4x + 5y = 5

now by putting the value of y that is 1 in this equation we get,

4x +5y = 5

4x + 5(1) = 5

4x + 5 = 5

4x = 5 - 5

4x = 0

x = 0 - 4

x = - 4

by solving the linear equation ,

we conclude that ,

x = - 4 and

y = 1

I HOPE THIS MAY HELP YOU IN SOLVING YOUR SUM

THANKU
