hello I have a doubt please solve

suppose there is a child of 5 year age and his fathers age is 45. The age difference between them is 40 but the father is 9 times older than child

Now 5 year later
the child is now of 10 year old and his father age is 50. Now the age difference is 40 (same) but now father is only 5 times older .

why???

why the difference is same but the times father older is not same after 5 year

please solve my doubt​
