IF WE ADD 20g of BACL2 solution to 20 g solution of NA2SO4 reaction taker place and a precipitate is formed.. what change of mass occur and why????

According to law of conservation of mass,mass can neither be created nor be destroyed in a chemical reaction i.e mass of the reactant side is equal to mass of product side. Mass never changes but physical states of the substances involved changes.

Bacl₂ + Na₂SO₄ ---------> BaSO₄ + 2 Nacl
