Answer:

The dark reaction of photosynthesis is not dependent on sunlight but it does not mean it does not occur in its presence. The dark reaction occurs both in the presence and absence of sunlight. This reaction occurs in the stroma of the chloroplasts which are cell organelles known as the kitchen of the cells.

Hi buddy

Good evening

Here is your answer

#Dark reaction of photosynthesis does not need light. ... This reaction represents the transfer of matter: carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, water from the soil or atmosphere, into sugar in the plant and oxygen back into the atmosphere. Light reactions need light to produce organic energy molecules (ATP and NADPH).

------------>

#night there is insufficient supply of carbon dioxide, a plant cannot photosynthesize, even in the presence of light.
