In the given figure,
If △EDC ~ △EBA
∠BEC=115° and
∠EDC= 70°, then

FIND:- (i)∠DEC,∠DCE,∠EAB,∠AEB & ∠EBA.
(ii)Find the ratio of A(△EDC):A(△EBA) if EM=7cm, EN=2cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

We will try to solve this question by external angle of a triangle's rule....

which states that the external angle of triangle is equal to the two internal angles opposite to it.

So,

angle BEC = ANGLE EDC + ANGLE ECD

115 = 70 + ANGLE ECD

angle ECD = 45

Now.

1) angle DEC -

we know that sum of all angle of traingle is 180

then, => EDC + ECD + DEC = 180

=> 70 + 45 + DEC = 180

=> DEC = 65

2) angle DCE will be same as angle ECD = 45

3) angle EAB - will be similar as angle EDC as both these triangles are similar and the respective angles in similar triangles are same.

angle EAB = 70

4)angle AEB = will be similar as DEC = 65

5) angle EBA = will be similar as ECD = 45
