A Scary Subway Experience.
On a fine evening, I was packing my stuff to head to <place> and enjoy my vacations there. Since <place> is nearby, I decided to take the metro to get there. After 2 hours of packing, I finally grab my bag and head to the Metro station. I ordered a Uber to get to the Subway.
As soon as I got there, there is a huge crowd of people standing in the tunnel waiting for the metro to arrive. According to the flashboard, the metro should've arrived 10 minutes ago. In my mind, 10 minutes wasn't that big of a deal, so I brushed it off, found a seat and sat there till the Metro would arrive. A Hooded man, in all black covered in a long overcoat, came sat beside me and just stared at the dashboard hanging across the seat. It did feel awkward sitting there, but all I wanted at that moment was to get in the metro and leave <current place> and enjoy my short vacation at <place>. 20 minutes passed, and the metro hasn't arrived yet. All of a sudden out of nowhere, the subway becomes pitch dark, and everyone started to panic. All of a sudden, a shrill cry echoes the subway and everyone became quiet. The chills went down my spine. All I could hear was children screaming and others panicking, I got up and tried to talk to the hooded man, but he wasn't there beside me. Everyone started to run and jam with one another trying to make a way outside the station, but it was dark so everything was just a mess. Few people started shining the phone flashlights to get a better look at what was going on and some to make a way out.
I stumbled on someone and fell to the floor. Out of my smudged vision with the help of the flashing lights, I saw the same hooded man with a dagger in his arm looking straight down at the floor in the middle of the subway. Everyone now started running, and I did the same, I took out my phone and started dialing 911 to call the cops. People started pushing to make their way out and my phone fell to the floor and the plan of calling the cops failed. Luckily, the people who made it outside the subway informed the security about it and they rushed downstairs to capture the man. I was relieved that I escaped the chaos. But unfortunately, one of the security guards out of 7 that went down to the subway didn't make it alive. Apparently what happened was the man who entered the subway was a mentally ill person who had escaped the Mental Asylum close by the Subway. Thinking about how I sat beside the Man, gave me the chills again. However now, the Subway has better protection and more Security Guards and I hope the Man is being given the proper treatment he requires.
