 \frac{6}{3m + 1}  =  \frac{9}{5m - 3}  \\   6(5m - 3) = 9(3m + 1) \\30m - 18 = 27m + 9 \\ 3m = 27 \\ m = 9

6/3m+1=9/5m-3
by cross multiplication
(6*5m-3)=(3m+1*9)
30m-18=27m+9
30m-27m = 9+18
3m=27
m=27/3
m=9
.... I hope it will help you
