1.The small intestine is divided into 3 parts 'a C shaped duodenum', 'jejunum', 'ileum'. The duodenum is place where the pancreatic gland and liver i.e. Bile secretion takes place and it very small part while the max absorption of food takes place in jejunum and ileum hence it has got many villi which has microvilli on it to increase the surface area of absorption. It absorb many minerals and nutrients which directly enters the blood lines in villi.
2.Ileum and jejunum are highly vascular cause its has to absorb every important nutrient present in food so while sending the food forward little little it helps the food to get in contact with villi present there.
3. Glottis is a small part of body where 2 things i.e. opening of mouth (i.e. end of tongue) and opening of gas pipe of body meets. Epiglottis is the growth of skin which helps to cover the gas pipe of body(i.e trachea) while swallowing the food and it is present in the larynx region of body. When the food enter into the food pipe perfectly from where it cannot enter trachea the epiglottis gets opened so that the air can enter the gas pipe i.e trachea. Hence it is said we can't breathe and swallow food at the same time.
