Hey mate here are some differences..

  • Speed is distance covered by body per unit time while Velocity is displacement covered by body per unit time.
  • Speed is scalar while Velocity is vector quantity.
  • Speed is denoted by s while velocity by v.
  • Velocity is speed in one direction while speed can be in any direction.
  • Speed corelates with distance while velocity with dispacement.

Speed=Distance/Time
