my question:- Why sky seems blue.with full explanation?

Actually sky should be black as it is in space but it appears blue because of the Earth ‘ s atmosphere . Earth’s atmosphere makes the black sky appear blue by reflecting sunlight in the sky

the molecules of air and fine particles in the atmosphere have size smaller than the wavelength of visible light .these are more effective in scattering light of shorter wavelength at the blue end than the light of longer wavelength at the red end .when sunlight passes through the atmosphere the fine particles in scatter the blue colour more stronger than red the scattered blue light enters our eyes we see the blue light from everywhere overhead the sky appears blue.
