a simple pendulum is a apparatus consisting of a bob free suspended by means of a thread and it is used in laboratories to measure time intervals..

aarushirastogi3704: thanks Dude
ADnnnnn: it performs oscillation motion by moving to and fro about its mean position
ADnnnnn: ur welcome
ADnnnnn: at least u can follow me lol

hello ,friend i will surely help you with this:

BRIEF EXPLANATION:

This is a simple pendulum.the above picture;

** Basically, it is a bob of any material attached to a string or thread, suspended from a rigid or fixed point such that it is free to rotate about the point of suspension.

**Some essential terms in order to understand it are:Mean position: The position of the pendulum at which it is at rest

**i.e., if you suspend a bob, after a certain time period it comes to rest. The position at which it comes to rest is called the mean position of the pendulum.
