Here's your Answer..

A.

Area of Shaded Region = Area of Quadrant - Area of Triangle AOD

☆ Area of Quadrant = (pie × r^2)/4

=>( 22/7 × 3.5 × 3.5)/4

=> 3.14 × 12.25/4

=> 9.61cm^2.

☆ Area of Triangle AOD = 1/2 × BASE × HEIGHT

=> 1/2 × 3.5 × 2

=> 3.5 cm^2.

So, Shaded region = 9.61 - 3.5

=> Shaded region = 6.11 cm^2.

B.

Perimeter of Shaded region =

=> Circumference = (2× pie × r^2)/4

=> 22/7 × 3.5 × 3.5/4

=> 22 × 0.5 × 3.5/4

=> 9.62cm

For AD

By pythagoras theorem

AD^2 = AO^2 + OD^2

=> AD^2 = 3.5^2 + 2^2

=> AD^2 = 12.25 + 4

=> AD^2 = 16.25

=> AD = 4.5 cm.

NOW, BD = BO - DO

=> BD = 3.5 - 2.

=> BD = 1.5 cm.

So,

Perimeter = 1.5 + 4.5 + 9.62

=> 15.62
