was the father of great writer of all times Helen Keller, who is the author of her autobiography
Helen Keller describes that her father Arthur H. Keller was a captain in a confederate army and later worked for ten years as an editor of " The North Albamian " .
Helen's father was true family man . He was a cotton planter, a confederate veteran and a great provider. It was his love for nature that made Helen admire and so close to nature.
Helen also describes him to be fond of Hunting. She tells that her father would prefer to go for hunting in his leisure time. He was an excellent story- teller.
Arthur H. Keller ensured that Helen was never wanting anything. He was a kind and caring father. It was his and family support that made Helen face life's challenges with confidence. Helen's father was keen and anxious to help out Helen somehow.
In the summer of 1896 , Helen lost her caring father which gave her immense shock . His death was Helen's first experience with death. But Helen says that she would always be in dept of what her parents had done to her.
