The answer will be C) SAS

Given, AD=EC

⇒ AD+DE=DE+EC

⇒ AE=DC

Also, AB=BC

⇒ ∠BCA=∠BAC (isos. △ property)

⇒ ∠BCD=∠BAE

∴ In △s ABE and CBD,

AB=CB (Given)

AE=DC (proved above)

∠BAE=∠BCD (Proved above)

∴ △ABE≅△CBD (SAS)

Hope this is helpful for you.

Answer:

SAS (c) option

Step-by-step explanation:

AB=AC ---------------------(i)

Therefore, angleBAE = angleBCD(because angles opposite to equal sides are equal) ..............(ii)

On adding DE to both equal sides AD&EC

AD+DE = EC +DE

AE = DC ..................(iii)

Therefore by SAS criterion the two triangles are congruent.
