Hi mate here is ur answer..

________________________

CRITICAL ANGLE

The least Angle of Incidence with normal at which total internal Reflection takes place.

The angle of incidence in a denser medium, at an Interface between the denser and less dense medium, at which theLight is refracted along the interface.

REFRACTIVE INDEX

While the other hand the ratio of the velocity of light in a vacuum to its velocity in a specified medium is known as refractive index..

RELATIONSHIP

The critical angle is that angle at which, if a ray is incident while passing from a denser to a rarer medium, the angle of refraction is 90o.90o.

⇒sinic/sin90°=1/μ

where

c is critical angle (incidence angle)

refacting Angel=90°

sinicrsin⁡icr is the critical angle, and,

μμ is the refractive index for a ray passing from the rarer to the denser medium.

When the angle of refraction is equal to 90°, the angle of incidence is called the critical angle, At any angle of incidence greater than the critical angle, the light cannot pass through the surface - it is all reflected. Total because all of the energy is reflected

or

In contrast to the "acceptance angle," which is measured outside the fiber, the critical angle is a measurement within the fiber. The least Angle of Incidence at which total internal Reflection takes place. ... When the critical angle is exceeded, the light is totally reflected back into the denser medium.

hope it helps u mark as brainliest please
