WIRE A :-
Length = l
Radius = r
Area = πr^2

R1 = rho × l/ πr^2

WIRE B :-
Length = 3l
radius = 3r
Area = π (3r)^2 = π × 9r^2

R2 = rho × 3l /π × 9r^2 = rho × l/π × 3r^2

total resistance = 1/R1 + 1/ R2
1/Rp =( πr^2 / rho × l ) + ( π×3r^2 / rho × l)
1/Rp = 4πr^2 / rho × l
Rp = rho × l/ 4πr^2

Ratio :-----
Rp/R1 = rho × l / 4πr^2 divided by rho×l / πr^2
Rp/R1 = 1/4
Rp : R1 = 1 :4 is the answer
